Obituary of Helen P. Halfmann
Helen Patricia Halfmann was born on June 13, 1934 in Georgetown, Washington D.C. and raised in Lovettsville, Virginia along with her seven sisters by Arthur and Sadie Lee Kimbley.
She graduate high school and signed up for overseas work with the National Security Agency in Japan, and Hawaii. She married John C. Halfmann on April 6th, 1967 and bore two sons, John Jr. and Scott Halfmann. She was a homemaker for the rest of her life, having moved with John and her children out of New York City into the suburbs of Westchester, where she lived from 1976 until July 2nd, 2019. She lived a happy, productive life and spent her last years living at home with her son, Scott, his wife, Roberta, and her three grandchildren, Cayden, Conan and Coralie. Together, they travelled much, loved God in their hearts and Helen often reminisced about her wonderful memories of traveling abroad as a young woman. She raised a beautiful, loving family and we all shall remember her with great endearment. Her kindness and self-sacrifice for her husband and children is among her great achievements, and her love for those around her shall not be forgotten.
Visitation will be held at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home on Saturday, July 6, 2019 from 9:00am to 10:00am.
Chapel service will be held at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 10:00am.
Interment to follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery (formely, St. Mary's Cemetery) Verplanck, NY.
