Obituary of Albert Pinto Duarte

Albert P. Duarte of San Antonio, FL formerly of Cortlandt Manor, NY passed away on November 8, 2019.  He was 83 years old.  Mr. Duarte had worked at the Grand Union warehouse in Mount Kisco, NY for over 30 years until he retired. He was a member of the Peekskill Volunteer Fire Fighter patrol for 50 years, in retirement he worked for both R K Graphics of Cold Spring, NY and at the Beekman County Club in Hopewell Junction, NY. 

He was born on June 28, 1936 in Peekskill to Joaquim and Zulmira Carnerio Duarte.  On June 19,1960 he married Christina Coons Duarte at the Assumption Church in Peekskill.

He is survived by his two Daughters Veronica (Anthony) Mantenga of Land O’ Lakes, FL and Jacqueline (Christopher) Johnstone of Boynton Beach, FL and five grandchildren; Kimberly (Manual) Schoenhuber, Joseph and Laura Mantegna, James Dean and Jaxson Johnstone. Albert is also survived by his sister Margaret Shaw of Hopewell Junction. He is predeceased by his wife Christina Duarte in April 2016, and his son, Albert Duarte Jr. in August 2007.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 8:00pm at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill NY. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, November 23, 2019, 11:30am at Saint Columbanus Church.

Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
