Obituary of Peter Alan Savage

Peter Allan Savage, 87 years of age passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 12, 2019.He was predeceased by both his parents and his twin brother Paul. He is survived by his wife, Joan Sheahan Savage, his loving son, Frank Savage, his step-daughter; Sherry Flisser of Florida, and his two sisters; Lenore Savage of Delaware and Justin Savage of Florida.
As a young man Peter proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War. As a Private he was trained as an Engineer Leader. He was an insurance agent, dedicated mail carrier for the US Postal Service for over 32 years. Pete was also a dedicated lifetime member of the local Knights of Columbus. Pete also entertained his friends and colleagues w/ his wry sense of humor.
Visitation is planned for Friday, November 15, 2019 at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home located at 414 Washington Street, Peekskill NY 10566, from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and 7:00pm - 9:00pm. Church services will be held at the Assumption Catholic Church at 920 First Street, Peekskill on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at10:00am.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the local Knights of Columbus in his honor.
