Obituary of Julia Grace Ferretti
Please share a memory of Julia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Julia Grace Ferretti, daughter of Robert and Maria Ferretti, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 27, 2016. She was born on August 18, 1995, sharing the same birthday as her maternal grandmother Grace Berardi.
Julia attended both Catholic and public school, graduating from high school in June of 2013. She was a talented and creative young woman who was involved in performing, visual and culinary arts. Julia loved being with children. She worked in local youth camps during summers. Julia also attended Westchester Community College whee she studied Early Childhood Education.
True to her Leo birth sign, Julia was blessed with a beutiful mane of hair that accentuated her inner beauty. She was warm spirited, passionate and loyal. Because she always accepted people unconditionally, she was received well by others and loved by many. Julia was an intelligent and thoughtful person who had many ideas on how to make the world a beter place.
Because of her appreciation for nature, it is appropriate that Julia will pass into a garden of beauty, welcomed by her grandfather Alfiero Berardi, grandmother Mary Ann Ferretti and Aunt Mary Ann. In addition to her parents, Julia is survived by her brother Michael, grandmother Berardi, grandfather Ferretti, uncles, aunts and cousins.
Visitation will take place on Saturday morning, July 2nd, from 8:00am to 9:45am at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be held following visitation at 10:00am at the Church of the Assumption, 131 Union Ave., Peekskill, NY. Interment will then follow at Assumption Cemetery, 1055 Orgon Road, Cortlandt Manor, NY.
In the future the family would like to do something in rememberance of Julia. Therefore, in lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Ferretti family in care of Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill, NY.
