Dear Donohue family,
You're mother was my second mother when Heather and I were kids. She was as stern and loving with me as she was with her own children. I admired and respected her a great deal.
As an adult, I enjoyed reminiscing with her about all of the times Heather and I would drive her nuts when we were teenagers. She always had a funny way of retelling our misadventures from her point of view.
She also touched my heart when she told me how much she appreciated the fact that Heather and I had been there for one another during some of the most difficult times of our lives. That was the day she hugged and kissed me and told me she loved me.
My love goes out to your family during this difficult time.
Where life shuts a door, memories open a window.
Love always,
Beth
