Obituary of Marian J. Pearson

Marian J. Lepore Pearson, a former longtime Peekskill resident, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at Skyview Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Croton. She was 93. 

She was born on March 26, 1927, to Joseph and Marian Caliendo Montesano, and raised and educated in Peekskill schools.  Marian worked as a Dental Assistant in the office of Joseph and Frank Fontana. She married Frank S. Lepore on May 23, 1948, at Assumption Church, where she was a long time Parishioner. Mr. Lepore passed away in 1971. Later she married Richard D. Pearson at Little Flower Chapel at Graymoor, in Garrison. Mr. Pearson passed away in 2012.  

Marian was a Charter Member of the Christopher Columbus Society Ladies Auxiliary, in Peekskill, and a Lifetime Member of Centennial Hose Company # 4 Ladies Auxiliary, also in Peekskill, and a Cub Scout Den Mother.  She enjoyed camping, playing Bingo, Slot Machines, and just being with her family. 

She is survived by her children and step-children, Marie (Brian) Foster, of Quakertown, PA, Michael (Lucy) Lepore, of Buchanan, Frances (Michael) Herling, of Cortlandt Manor, Vincent Lepore, of New Hope, PA, Donna (Tom) Giglio, of Croton, and Richard (Dianne) Pearson, Jr., of Ocean Isle Beach, NC.  She also has 6 grandchildren, Tracey (Tom) Lamoreux, Brian (Stephanie) Foster, Jr., David (Ewa) Lepore, Amanda (Ed) Rodriguez, Michael Herling, Jr., and Lisa Herling; also 11 great-grandchildren, Samantha, Aidan, and Patrick Lamoreux; Sarah, Leah, and Juliana Foster; Jacek, Kuba, and Zofia Lepore, Christopher DiSisto, Jr, and Santino Rodriguez.  She also has many nieces and nephews. 

Besides her 2 husbands, Marian is also predeceased by 2 sons, Frank S. Lepore, Jr, and David J. Lepore, and a brother, Joseph Montesano. 

Visiting is at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, 414 Washington St., Peekskill, NY 10566 on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Funeral mass to be held at the Church of the Assumption on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at 12:30 pm.
