Obituary of Louis C. Barbieri

Louis C Barbieri, Jr. of Wappingers Falls, NY passed away on May 18, 2016, he was 33 years old. Louis was a Junior 1st Officer in the Merchant Marine stationed on the west coast traveling the world with the Chevron Oil Co. He was born on July 23, 1982 in No. Tarrytown, NY to Louis C. and Barbara (DeFino) Barbieri, Sr. He graduated from Stepanic High School in 2000 and was appointed into the US Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point, NY and graduated in 2005. Louis served in the US Navy Reserve. He was a leader in the CYO, an avid track star in high school and college and holds records to this date. Louis was a sports car, pick-up truck and motorcycle enthusiast. He loved the Yankees and football Giants. Louis is survived by his beloved parents, Louis C. Sr. and his wife Barbara Barbieri of Peekskill, a dear sister, Cheryl (Erik) Jaffe of Shrub Oak, NY and his cherished grandmother Juliet Tucceri. Also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation is Sunday, from 4pm to 8pm at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, 11:30am at the Assumption Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
