Obituary of Teresa Ventrone-Italiano

Teresa Ventrone-Italiano passed away in Fishkill, New York on March 20, 2021 after a brief battle with cancer.  She was 65 years old.  She was born in Casagiove, Naples, Italy on March 14, 1956.  A Peekskill high school graduate, she spent the majority of her career at Apple Bank in Pleasantville, NY.

Teresa fought through her illness with courage and dignity, reminding us of how strong and amazing she was.  She could brighten any room with her outgoing and witty personality and was always there to listen and give advice ~ telling you what you needed to hear, not always what you wanted to hear. The legacy of her kind spirit and passion will live on through her two precious grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of her life.

Teresa was predeceased by her parents Costantino and Maria (Cecere) Ventrone and her brother Gaetano Ventrone.  She is survived by her three loving sons; Domenick (Lisa) Italiano of Hopkinton, Massachusetts, John (Jennifer Sasso) Italiano of Greenwich, Connecticut, and Joseph Italiano of White Plains, New York.  She is also survived by her sister, Victoria (Ventrone) Triglia of Fishkill, New York, her brother, Pasquale Ventrone and her sister Maria Anella, both of West Harrison, New York.  She also leaves behind her granddaughters, Alessia and Giuliana.  She will always be remembered by many family and friends, by whom she will be greatly missed.

The family would like to express sincere thanks and appreciation to all the relatives and friends who have prayed, supported, and shared before and during our time of bereavement.  They would especially like to thank Zizi Lina and Debbie.

Visitation will be held at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, 414 Washington Street, Peekskill, NY on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Funeral Mass will be held at the Church of the Assumption, 131 Union Avenue, Peekskill, NY on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at 11:30 am.

Private Cremation Ceremony to follow.
