Clara M. Carrick of Somers, NY passed away on January 18, 2016. She was 89 years old. Mrs. Carrick was an Adult Education Teacher at the Rochambeau School in White Plains, NY. She was born on May 18, 1926 in Clarksville, PA to Antonio and Rose Gaultieri Paletta. On July 9, 1950 Clara married Hunter Carrick in Washington, PA. She is survived by her three children; Hunter (Kim) Carrick, Jr. of Gladwin, Michigan, Christine ( Frank) Galloway, Peekskill, NY and Margaret Carrick of Corvallis, Oregon and two grandchildren; Brian Galloway and Kaia Larson. Predeceased by her husband Hunter Carrick, Sr. and three brothers; Frank L. Paletta, John R. Paletta and Antonio Paletta. Visitation is Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 9am to 10:30am at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 11:30am, St. Joseph’s Church, 95 Plum Brook Rd., Katonah, NY. Cremation service will be private.
