Obituary of Christine Susan Giuliani

We are sad to announce the passing of Christine Susan Giuliani on March 29, 2023, at the age of 71. 

She was born in Yonkers, NY on April 26, 1951, to the late Alfred and Barbara (Irving) Diorio.  One of six, Christine was a sister to five brothers. 

Christine married Ilvo (John) Giuliani on November 28, 1976, and together they raised their family in the Peekskill and Garrison area.

Christine loved music, especially jazz and the blues.  Rock and roll was her favorite music to listen to and play on the piano and guitar.  An avid reader, she always had a thirst for knowledge and never stopped learning.  She loved Colonial and Victorian architecture and had a flair for interior design.  She could transform any living room into a scene from a Charles Dickens story, as Christmas was her favorite time of year.

Christine will always be remembered for her drive to learn and to "do the right thing."  She enjoyed the company of her friends and family and will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her. 

She is survived by her husband, Ilvo (John) Giuliani, her son and daughter-in-law Christopher and Lisa Giuliani, and grandsons Luca and Christopher Giuliani.

She will also be lovingly remembered by her siblings and their families.

Christine joined her mother and father in heaven, as well as her brother David Diorio and her nephew, Steven Diorio Jr. 

We know she will be watching over all of us and we await the day when we meet her again.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, 414 Washington Street, Peekskill, NY.

Chapel service will take place during visitation at 6:00 pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at 10:00 am at Church of the Assumption, 920 1st Street, Peekskill, NY.

Entombment to follow at Hillside Cemetery, 1033 Oregon Road, Cortlandt Manor, NY.
