I am Dan Northrup and knew Charlie through my grandma Edna. I haven’t seen him since I was very young. He was always an entertains guy by my recollection. A ton of stories from his days as a fireman and back in ww2. I always got the sense stories were something he loved to tell. Rest in peace Uncle Charlie.

Charlie , you are so greatly loved and deeply missed . You were the last of the ‘Greatest Generation’ and you truly were the greatest . I pray you have reunited with Mary , Gma Edna , Eva and Bob and all your many best friends! I have so many wonderful memories of visiting with you and Mary , and the many holidays . I remember when I gave birth to my first child, Evan , and you drove up from NY with gma and Eva , and I watched you sit in the rocking chair at the hospital and hold him . I could always hear you before I saw you , and I mean that with all the love in my heart . I will miss your voice , but if I think about it hard enough I can hear it . Nothing can ever take away the love , memories , laughter and even the voice that was shared amongst family and friends . I will love and miss you forever until one day hopefully I’m able to reunite with the ‘Greatest Generation’ You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure . Love Always , Kelli
