It's heart-wrenching to know we lost such a great guy such as George. He will be missed by many of us. I had the honor of serving our country with George in the United States Air Force back in the mid-1960s. We were together for 3 of the 4 years that we served. We were roommates for most of those 3 years & we were together even off duty. Either at my parents' house in Rockland County, NY, or my future mother-in-law's house in Waltham, MA. We were certainly brothers while we were with our Uncle Sam & we'll always be brothers. Way too many adventures, escapades & great times to mention. He was always someone who I was glad was in my corner as I was in his. He was family to my parents, my late spouse Linda, my siblings, my children & many friends. I still remember the first time we met. We just hit it off as if we had known each other for years already. I was truly blessed to have him as a friend & he's certainly another one, who I will never forget & always remember. There's no way to ever forget him because we had so many fabulous memories. Every year for decades we always wished each other a Happy Birthday & the same with a Happy Anniversary greeting on the day we were both Honorably Discharged. Those dates I'll always remember until we meet again. He's in so many hearts he'll never be forgotten.
