I have known Rick for ten years, but it seems like longer. We served in the cold war, and the first gulf war without having met. Rick would give you the shirt off his back. He helped so many people, like an invisible angel. I remember doing things with him, working all night to get things done. Such a wonderful person, he will live on in our memories. So many crazy times, you could not make it up. Rest in Peace Rick, you have been relieved. God Speed.

I have known Rick for about ten years. Rick helped give me purpose and was my best friend. He was always there for me and so many others. He has blessed hundreds of lives and hardly ever took credit for all his good deeds. I have never known anyone with so much faith in God. He would never eat his food without blessing it first. It has been a privilege knowing Rick and I will miss him terribly. My heart will hurt for him for years. Earth has lost one of its bravest angels.

Q: How would you describe Richard to someone who had never met them? A: Rick was the most generous and selfless person I have ever encountered. He did so many things to help my family and myself that are above and beyond the norm. He is a hero to us. I am in awe of his bravery, intellect, and giving nature, I want to be just like him. I am so grateful for his friendship, he was one of a kind. I am heart broken that we lost such an amazing person.
