Charlie was a friend and an inspiration. He showed us that despite terrible odds we could push through somehow. We made a couple of movies in Mr. Testa’s audio visual class in high school, raunchy and inappropriate and damn funny. Charlie cracked me up every time we were together. Hanging out with him in Mike Bott’s attic, cranking tunes, jamming together as he would sing along to the heaviest music… the last thing he told me in a text last year was ‘the Rock and Roll train never stops’. I’ll miss you, Brother…

Charlie was the strongest and kindest person that I have ever met! I remember him as always smiling and laughing and making jokes at all the occasions. He always inspired me with his strength, determination and courage and this I will carry in my heart. Charlie, while we are all so sad and going to miss you, you are now free to run with the angels-no more struggles or pain.

Q: How would you describe Charlie to someone who had never met them? A: He had a huge heart , he would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need , He handled everything life sent his way with a smile ! He was a great friend, and confident. I'm gonna miss his smile and laughter , and hearing him call my name all day long , rest in peace

Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Charlie? A: Charlie had many great qualities and some words used to describe him would be strong, funny and easygoing. He was such a nice guy, easy to talk to and such an inspiration! Nothing got him down! I will always remember how he was always able to make my friends and I laugh because he was just so hilarious! Every little thing he could make funny! Him and his family were so welcoming always! Just all of them, overall nice family! He was loved by many and will be missed greatly. You can see how much of a positive impact he made and the smiles he left with so many. I am happy and fortunate I got to know him in this lifetime. I will never forget his love for the Vikings, heavy metal music and concerts. Forever resting in peace now. Sending prayers to his family and loved ones. Attached a pic I had came across recently had to be from around the year 2000 we were at his brother Vinny’s house I believe for some type of party or cookout.
