Barbara A. Matra of Ormond Beach, FL formerly of Cortlandt Manor passed away on February 1, 2015. She was 72 years old. Mrs. Matra was a Secretary for Greenway Construction a family owned business in Cortlandt Manor. She was born on August 15, 1942 in White Plains, NY to Thomas and Hannah Bellantoni Schettino. Barbara is survived by her husband Rocco Matra, three children; Anthony (Julie) Matra, Lisa (Tino) DiPaterio and Rocco (Robin) Matra, seven grandchildren; Rocco, Amanda and Samantha Matra and Tino, Christina, Barbara and Pauly DiPaterio. Also surviving are one sister, Dorothy “Dottie” Gagnon and two brothers; Thomas “Skip” Schettino and Dennis Schettino. Predeceased by a grandson Louie DiPaterio. Visitation is Friday (Feb. 6th), from 4pm to 8pm at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, (Feb. 7th) 10am at the Assumption Church. Interment will follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
