Obituary of William T. Lutzen

William T. Lutzen, Sr. of Peekskill, NY, formerly of Hartford, CT, passed away on January 29, 2015. He was 90 years old. Mr. Lutzen was a facilities manager in Westerly, RI, and custodian in the East Hartford school system, East Hartford, CT. Second to the youngest among his siblings, Mr. Lutzen served with honor in the U.S. Army during World War II on the European Front. Mr. Lutzen is predeceased by his wife Beatrice G. Lutzen (2012) and his first wife Hildegard H. Lutzen (1973). He is survived by his sister, Gertrude Lutzen O’Brien; his two sons, John H. Lutzen, his wife, Christina C. Lutzen and William T. Lutzen, Jr.; a stepson, Charles (Chip) Conlin, his wife Lourdes Marie Conlin; two granddaughters Jamie Lutzen Mara, her husband Jeffrey S. Mara; Marisa E. Conlin; and, great grandsons Alexander J. Mara and Troy H. Mara. Mr. Lutzen is predeceased by brothers Charles, Raymond, John and Carl, and his sister Martha. Private Cremation services were held. Arrangements were handled by the Joseph F.
