Obituary of Kenneth W. Gonsalves

Kenneth W. Gonsalves of Garrison passed away at home on January 16, 2015. He was 69 years old. Mr. Gonsalves worked for IBM in Armonk retiring after 36 years in Human Resources. He was born on February 14, 1945 in the Bronx to Joseph W. and Frieda Bernaudo Gonsalves. Kenneth graduated from Peekskill HS in 1963 and earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Pace University in 1970. On September 3, 1966 he married Anne Martin at the Assumption Church in Peekskill. A resident of Continental Village for 46 years, he was active in the Continental Property Owners Assoc. Kenneth was also a very active member of the Road Knights. He is survived by his wife Anne Gonsalves of Garrison, and four children; Keith (Sandra) Gonsalves of Ft. Mill, SC, Teresa (Richard) Hollander of Basking Ridge, NJ, Deannemarie Gonsalves of New York City, and Joseph (Caren) Gonsalves, II of San Francisco. Seven Grandchildren; Kyle, Ashleigh and Cameron Gonsalves, Arica and Parker Zentner and Elliot and Eric Hollander. Also survived by a sister, Diane (Theodore) Follis of Cold Spring and many nieces and nephews. Visitation is Sunday, January 18th and Monday, January 19th 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, 11:30am at the Assumption Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
