Mario Iaconangelo of Peekskill, NY passed away on November 17, 2014 at the age of 78. He was born on February 20, 1936 in Naples, Italy to Fiorenzo and Maria Maddalena Neri Iaconangelo. For many years, Mario was a chef at Sorrento’s Restaurant in Peekskill. He worked at several other area restaurants as well. On May 1, 1977 he married Corinne Moskowitz at Colonial Terrace. He is survived by a sister Yolanda Carano of Boynton Beach, FL and a brother, Armando (Italia) Iaconangelo of Cold Spring. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and many friends. Predeceased by his wife, Corinne Iaconangelo (2004). Also predeceased by two brothers and a sister in Italy; Aldo, Salvatore and Flora. Visitation, Wednesday, Novemebr 19th, 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, November 20th, 10am at the Assumption Church. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
