I was glad to meet Joe and know that he and Karen found each other in time to enjoy some time together. He was a kind and loving man with the gift of openness to all he met. I know Karen will miss him especially and all who knew him as family and friend. God bless him and all who loved Joe.

Although I never met Joe, I really wish I did. From the many travel stories Linda has told and reading his obituary, it is obvious that Joe was an adventurer and indeed loved life. That's my type of individual. It is also easy to understand why Linda and her family are such special people. I assume the same of all the True siblings and their families. After reading the Memoriams, it is easy to see Joe led a full life and greatly impacted those he touched. May he rest in Peace.

Kathy and I had fun riding motorcycles with Karen and Joe when they visited Minnesota with the motorhome. We were blessed to know Joe; he was a great guy and perfect for my cousin Karen. Joe reminded Kathy of her dad who also worked construction and told it like it is. I loved the motorcycle adventure stories and the ones about hanging from skyscrapers in New York. We were able to spend time with Karen and Joe in Ft. Myers. Joe said come down and visit and he meant it. We had a great time; Joe even let us ride his Spyder motorcycle. We miss you Joe, God bless you in heaven! PS. Dan and Joyce from the Minnesota KOA send their deepest sympathy and they too will miss him very much.

I would agree with everything my niece Sarah Dittmar said about Joe. My brother Jim and I would take long Motorcycle rides with my cousin Karen and Joe when they took their yearly RV trip to Mn. When we would take a break from riding Joe would entertain us with his stories as an ironworker and his long motorcycle trips. Having worked construction in my early years and having ridden motorcycles for fifty years I can tell you Joes experiences both on the job as an iornworker and his adventures on motorcycles were that of legend. I wish he had written a book. He could have called it “True Stories from Joe”. The most important thing to his extended Minnesota family is the way Joe made our cousin Karen so happy and showed her eleven years full of love ,fun and adventure. What a great guy!!! What a life!! Thanks Joe Joe we will miss you.

Although , most of us did not know your DAd , I think I met him once. He must have been a special person after reading his obit. I had the honor of meeting Joe shortly after he married my cousin Karen. Joe was instantly a part of the family he fit in like a glove, he and my father and uncle would go on motorbike rides and it was always a great time! I remember when Joe and Karen would come up to the KOA in MN every year it was always a treat to have them so close to all of us and us able to get together as often as our scheduled allowed. I also enjoyed a trip down to fort Myers to visit them 5 years ago this April! What an amazing Time I had with them. My husband and I had actually planned on being there on the 14th but due to weather we couldn’t get a flight out of mn. I was so heart broken to have missed that trip and the chance to say my goodbye to Joe. What a fighter he was and I’m sure still is! Joe as I write this tears fall down my cheeks I gave you a name a few years ago and I still will continue to call you my Cuz Uncle! I love you so much your so deeply missed Love sarah
