Obituary of Rosaria Federico

Rosaria Federico of Peekskill died on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at home surrounded by her family. She was 87. Mrs. Federico worked as a seamstress for Nan-Flower and retired in the mid 1990’s. Mrs. Federico was born on July 5, 1927 in Italy to Damiano and Marianna Faba DeLuca. On December 15, 1949 she married Domenico Federico in San Valentino, Italy. She moved to Peekskill in 1970. Locally, she was a parishioner of the Assumption Church. Rosaria enjoyed family and was a wonderful cook. Mrs. Federico is survived by her husband Domenico of 64 years; daughters, Maria Federico (Giuseppe) of Italy, and Lucia Pascetta (Filippo) of Peekskill; grandchildren, Paola, Sandro, and Rosaria; Joseph and Maria; as well as six great grandchildren. Calling hours are Thursday, October 16th, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, October 17th, 10:00am at the Assumption Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
