Josephine (DeLuca) Grandinetti, 89, passed away peacefully at Vassar Hospital on Friday, September 8, 2017. A native of Lago, Italy, she was the daughter of Carmine DeLuca and Carmela Greco. She was predeceased by her husband Nicola Grandinetti, sister Adelina Palumbo, brother Anthony DeLuca and great grandson Hudson Chauvin. She is survived by her sisters Benigna Turco and Wanda Palermo and brother Joseph DeLuca. Beloved mother of Francesca Surman and Louie Grandinetti; grandmother to Nicole (Jason) Chauvin and Gabriella (Zachary) Grandinetti-Smith. Also survived by her four-legged great grandchildren Mya and Koa. Private services will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Hillside Cemetery.
