Obituary of Mary Ann Nacarlo

It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Ann Nacarlo announces her passing on Saturday, August 25, 2018. She was 89 years of age.

Mary was born to Mr. and Mrs. Salati Oitice on February 27, 1929 in Peekskill. She worked for many years at Soft Tone Beauty Parlor. In her later years, she volunteered weekly at the St. Joseph’s Home gift shop and was a member of the Lay Associates group there.

She is survived by two children: Frank Jr. and June Cardinale, three grandchildren: Shayne, Chelsea and Steve Cardinale, Jr., two great-grandchildren: Mason Cardinale and Otto Ross Fetch, three sisters: Rose Adams, Carmela and Martha Otice, and many nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, Frank, her sisters, Anna and Josephine, and her brothers, Julian Oitice and Dominick Otice.

Visitation will be held at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, September 10, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial is to take place at the Church of the Assumption at 11:30 a.m. on September 11, 2018., after which she will be laid to rest at the Assumption Cemetery alongside her husband, Frank.

She is much loved and will be sorely missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital.
